Mistral Quality Assurance Program

• The strict guidelines laid out in this multifaceted auditing process cover specifications from Forest to installation. Adherences must be followed and regularly reported in each of the following steps to yield a Pre-finshed floor that is worthy of customer’s homes as well as the Mistral name.
• Sawmill suppliers must practice sustainable forest management through theacquisition of their hardwood logs.
• Sawmills must provide lumber that is uniform for thickness, color and grade.
• Logistics standards are set so that all carriers handling Mistral’s lumber is always protected from the elements during transportation.
• All lumber when recieved must be inspected immediately for grade, color, texture, grainnad measurement.
• State of the art kiln drying techniques and reporting are implemented and regularly modified iwth changing technolgy to guarantee minimal stress and uniformity in mosture content after drying .
• Milling must regularly monitored for grade and yield as well as for all tollerances applicable to profiling.
• Pre-finishing is verified every quater hour for recieved milling tollerances, uniformity incolor stain, lustre, adhesion and thickness of apllied finish.
• Finally after boxes are shrink wrapped with their appropraite nomenclature and warranty inserts and bar coding and palced in ready to ship inventory a random sampling is then taken every two hours forcomplete analysis for all previuos quality control tests.
