Mistral Hardwood Floor Inc. is located in Northern Lac St. Jean Saguenay region of the province of Quebec.

The purity of this area forms the bed where the principle Canadian species of Hardwoods are grown.

The hardwoods of this region are superior because of the unique density of the3 fibres of the wood that make up these slow growing trees.

Mistral which is a company founded on its reputation for quality products, supplies itself with this raw material.

Our trees are selected with the greatest attention to detail. The logs are selectively harvested from the forest and transported to the saw mill in tree length.

The logs chosen for our production are of a grade that is suitable to be sawn into lumber that will generate the high quality flooring we produce.
